Local traffic

Traffic here is that of a working suburb, not a resort: the GP1 and the approaches to Rades port are busy on weekdays, especially between 7 and 9am, with a lot of heavy goods vehicles. The Ben Arous and Megrine industrial zones are easier to cross in the middle of the day. The beaches at Ezzahra and Hammam Lif, meanwhile, fill up on summer Sundays — arrive early if you want to park near the seafront.
